The Jamestown Jammers picked up their league leading sixteenth hit of the season as they defeated the Newark Pilots in commanding fashion 16-4.
The left hander from Monroe, CT Jack Rose was strong on the mound for the Jammers, pitching 5 scoreless innings of work.
The Jammers blew open the game with a 7 run sixth inning, which included a 3 run home run by Chase Keng. The offensive power would continue for Jamestown when Dailin Lee hit a 2 run home in the eighth inning.
Josh Lamb was another strong contributor for the Jammers, going 3-6 at the plate with 3 RBI's,
The same two teams will link up in Jamestown for the back end of a home and home tomorrow night @ 7:05.
