Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that goaltender James Reimer ["RHYME er"] has been recalled by the Maple Leafs and reassigned to the Marlies. In a separate transaction, the Royals signed goaltender Rob Lemelin as an emergency back-up goaltender.

In nineteen games with the Royals this season, Reimer has compiled a record of 8-6-2-1 with a 3.41 goals against average and .901 save percentage. This marks the third time that Lemelin, who has played ten games with the Jersey Rockhoppers of the Eastern Professional Hockey League this year, has served as the Royals' EBG.

The Royals face the Trenton Devils at Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton New Jersey tomorrow night (Wednesday, February 18 @ 7:00 pm et).
