Gladiators Jersey Auction A Success

The Gwinnett Gladiators specialty jersey auction was again a success this season as the organization raised $32,950 as part of the Gladiators Pink in the Rink Weekend. The team wore special Gwinnett County Relay for Life Jerseys during the weekend as they squared off against the South Carolina Stingrays on Saturday, February 14th and the Charlotte Checkers on Sunday February 15th.

Gwinnett saw the specialty jerseys auctioned off in rapid fashion on Sunday following the Gladiators 2-1 win over the Charlotte Checkers and become another piece of Gladiators history. Over the past five years, the Gladiators have raised over $175,000 during their specialty jersey auctions combined. Add to that this year's total of the $32,950 and that brings the impressive grand total to over $207,000 that has gone to local area charities.

This year, Jordan Fox went for the most as has jersey was auctioned off for $3000. Goaltender Josh Johnson's jersey came in at second with $2100 while Andy Brandt and Tom Zanowski tied for third as they both saw their jersey's go for $2000 each.
