Jacksonville, FL. The ABA Jacksonville Jam's marketable properties not only include the team logos and innovative marketing promotions, but also its mascot, or should they say, their own unique and innovative Mascot Team - The JAM Squad. The JAM Squad was created to be an essential part of delivering the JAM message throughout the community: Family Fun and Entertainment. The JAM Squad will appear at every home game and at community and charity events throughout the area. Befriending all of the fans will be the JAM Squad's favorite past time. They will entertain the crowd at the games by dancing with the children, tossing out T-shirts during the time outs, sitting and cheering with the fans and meeting and greeting the fans in the stands throughout the game.
The JAM Squad will always be available for photographs and autographs before, during and after the games. In the community, the JAM Squad will be available to support numerous charities and civic organizations. They will make appearances at community events, holiday festivals, school assemblies and local parades. Their goal is to be readily available to promote achievement programs, community conscious events and be available for functions throughout the First Coast. They have already appeared to over 1000 children in several YMCA, camps and local functions throughout the Jacksonville area and are scheduled to host an MS Society fundraiser this month as well as be an integral part of the Boys and Girls Club Kids Day celebration in September.
The Jacksonville JAM will launch its inaugural season in the 2006-2007 ABA season. The JAM has the objective of becoming a premier sports and entertainment organization through professionalism, corporate partnerships, innovative marketing programs, community involvement and by offering the best overall family entertainment fun and value in the professional sports and entertainment industry throughout the Jacksonville area.
