Jadar Johnson Signs with Washington Valor

Green Bay Blizzard News Release
From 2017-18, the Green Bay Blizzard won five games while losing 25. Currently, in Corey Roberson's first year as general manager and head coach, the team is 4-2 and surging.
Roberson's tireless efforts to upgrade the program's talent level has led to an exciting start to the 2019 season, but it has also earned attention from other leagues.
Starting Blizzard rookie defensive back Jadar Johnson, a 6-1, 210-pounder who played collegiately at national champion Clemson, is the latest Green Bay player to sign with a team from the Arena Football League.
"Jadar was one of our best defensive backs, and helped our secondary a lot," Roberson said. "We appreciate his talent and dedication to us while he was here."
Indoor Football League players have stipulations in their contracts that allow them to leave in-season for teams in the Arena Football League, Canadian Football League and the NFL.
"We are a true developmental league," Roberson explained. "We provide our players with a great platform, and allow them to audition for better opportunities. The better they perform for us, and the harder they play, the more attention they will receive."
