JACKSONVILLE- The Jacksonville Sharks announced today that 1st Team ALL-NAL Center Derrick Zeigler has signed with the Sharks for his second year of arena football.
Zeigler (6'5", 320) spent his first year of arena football with the Sharks where he played in 11 games and anchored the Sharks offensive line. Zeigler earned the First Team All-NAL Center recognition during his rookie season with the Sharks. He spent his college career at Northeast Mississippi Community College where he played offensive lineman in eight games and recorded 31 total tackles, two sacks and two forced fumbles.
Zeigler is a native of Elmore, AL where he played offensive line for Holtville High School.
