Jacksonville Sharks News Release
JACKSONVILLE - The Jacksonville Sharks (4-1) will travel to Orlando, FL to take on the Predators (2-5) in the Amway Center for the first time in two years this Friday. The Sharks currently stand on top of the NAL standings going into week 8 and are on a four-game win streak. The last time Jacksonville faced Orlando was in week six at home as the Sharks dominated the Predators 61-7. Since then, the Sharks have enjoyed a bye week to recover and prepare for their nine-game long-haul before the start of the NAL postseason. Despite Orlando's slow start to the season, the Preds came off a great victory last weekend against the defending NAL Champions, the Carolina Cobras, 74-69 in Greensboro, NC.

During the last meeting between the Sharks and Predators, Jacksonville combined for over 230 passing yards and five passing touchdowns. Quarterback Jonathan Bane went down with an injury before halftime, allowing the backup quarterback, Mike Fafaul finish the game. Wide Receiver Devin Wilson earned the NAL's Week 6 player of the week award for his performance in that game totaling eight receptions for 112 yards, and three touchdowns. Defensively, the Sharks held the Predators to seven points and completely shut them out of the second half. This week's matchup will look different than the last, playing in Orlando with a revamped Predators team that made a lot of roster moves since the 71-6 loss.
Saturday's game will start at 7:00 p.m. and will be streamed live on the National Arena League YouTube channel. The Sharks will also post a direct link to the stream on game day on the team's social media pages.
