Bangor, ME- The Bangor Lumberjacks, a proud member of the Northeast League, announced today that they have signed OF Brian Baker to a contract.

"Brian has put together a marvelous season at Windy City and we are very fortunate to have stumbled into him. There's no doubt that he will help us in the stretch run towards the post season," said Lumberjacks Manager Kash Beauchamp.
Standing at 6 foot 3, 200 pounds, Brian was 2-for-3 with two RBI for the Western All-Stars at this year's Frontier League All-Star game. Baker, who combines speed with power, can play all outfield positions. He graduated from the University of Tennessee Martin in 2000.
