
Jacks Raise Over $3,000 for Children's Miracle Network

(Odessa, TX) - The Odessa Jackalopes, with the help of Medical Center Hospital, raised $3,445 for the Children's Miracle Network as part of Medical Center Hospital's "Day of Health" celebration during the Jackalopes' 4-1 win over Corpus Christi on January 30th.
This weekend the Jacks will present a check to the Children's Miracle network for the $2,445 that was raised in ticket sales during the January 30th game.
The Jackalopes' Kory Karlander and Phil Plante already presented a $1,000 check to the Children's Miracle Network on behalf of the team, the Central Hockey League and the Hoffen Foundation during a press conference on January 27th.
The Jacks also offered a number of health screening activities during the game to continue with the "Day of Health" theme for Medical Center Hospital.
The Odessa Jackalopes are the Central Hockey League affiliate for the NHL's New York Islanders and the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The team is currently in its 12th season. Season tickets, mini-plans, and single game tickets are available by calling (432) 552-PUCK or visiting jackalopes.org.
