Joliet JackHammers News Release
JOLIET-The Joliet JackHammers are proud to work with local non-profit organizations and fundraising groups at every "Winning Wednesday" home game during the 2009 season. With the help of the JackHammers' Ticket Department, local non-profit groups can pick a remaining Wednesday home game to book a group outing at Silver Cross Field. Groups can use their outings to raise funds through direct ticket sales. The JackHammers will also donate the proceeds of the 50/50 ticket raffle to the group that books the largest outing as well as giving $1,000.00 to a randomly selected charity after each "Winning Wednesday." The JackHammers donated $1,000.00 to the Housing Authority of Joliet at last night's doubleheader and awarded the proceeds for the 50/50 raffle to the Mokena Blue Wave Softball club.
"This was an unexpected gift that's going to provide more activities and experiences for youth and families in our summer program!" said R. Dale Evans, Social Services Coordinator for the Housing Authority of Joliet
The JackHammers want to encourage local non-profit groups and other fundraising groups to come out to Silver Cross Field, enjoy a JackHammers game and raise some much-needed funds in doing so. The next "Winning Wednesday" at Silver Cross Field is Wednesday, July 1 at 7:05 p.m. against the Kansas City T-Bones.
The JackHammers want to talk to YOU about bringing your group to a "Winning Wednesday" this season. If you have any questions, or would like to book a group outing, please contact the JackHammers Ticket Department directly at (815) 726-2255.
The JackHammers currently have full season seats, mini-plan packages, various group outings, affordable marketing opportunities and individual game tickets available for the 2009 season. To invest, or for more information, please contact them TODAY at 815.726.2255 (BALL), visit their website (www.jackhammerbaseball.com) or stop by the Silver Cross Field Box Office during normal business hours.
