Augusta, GA - The GreenJackets and Greensboro Grasshoppers had their game rained out on Saturday night at Lake Olmstead Stadium. The two teams waited out a rain delay close to two hours before the game was finally called at 9:00 p.m.

Rain fell all day at Lake Olmstead Stadium with a slight break coming at 5:00 p.m. for approximately an hour. Rain started to fall again at 6:30 p.m. and stopped shortly after 8:00 p.m. Once the tarp was removed from the field it was determined the field was unplayable.

Augusta will send the Giants top pick in the 2007 draft to the mound, lefty Madison Bumgarner in game one. The Grasshoppers will counter with right-hander Jeremiah Haar. First pitch for Game 1 is at 1:05 p.m.

The second game of the double-header will follow approximately a half hour after the end of the first game. The GreenJackets will send right-hander T.J. Brewer to the hill. Right-hander Stuart Alexander will start for Greensboro.
