ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, begin the final week of the regular season with a Tuesday tilt in Glens Falls, N.Y. against the Thunder. Then, the pack will finish with a home-and-home weekend set against the Brampton Beast.

Home vs. ADK 3-3-0; Away vs. ADK 3-1-0
On Tuesday the Jackals visit the Glens Falls Civic Center for the fifth and final meeting against the Thunder this season. Tuesday's tilt marks the 11th overall matchup this year as the Jackals and Thunder renew their in-state rivalry. The Jackals have the series advantage with a 6-4-0 record and a 3-1-0 mark in Glens Falls. Elmira has not allowed a goal at Adirondack in the last 134:18 and has shutout the Thunder in back-to-back contests. In the last meeting in Glens Falls, Shane Owen turned aside all 24 shots faced to lead the Jackals past the Thunder, 2-0. Mark Bennett and Zach Cohen scored for the Jackals. In the previous meeting at the Glens Falls Civic Center the Jackals dismantled the Thunder, 8-0. The Jackals' winning margin set a new high mark in the ECHL that still stands. In the last overall meeting on March 11, the Jackals completed the home-and-home weekend sweep with a 4-2 victory at First Arena. Shane Owen made 36 saves and Kyle Bushee, Tyler Currier, Cason Hohmann and Darcy Murphy recorded goals in the win.
4/8 at Brampton Beast - 7:15 p.m. EDT; 4/9 vs. Brampton Beast - 7:05 p.m. EDT
Home vs. BRM 3-2-0, Away vs. BRM 3-0-1
This weekend the Jackals complete their 2015-16 regular season schedule with a home-and-home set against the Brampton Beast. These two meetings mark the 10th and 11th overall meetings this season and completes a stretch of five matchups in the Jackals' final seven regular season games. Elmira traveled to Brampton this past Friday and completed a three-goal comeback in the final 11:44 of regulation to send the game into extra time, but Mike Vernace scored the lone shootout goal in round five to give Brampton its first win against the Jackals at home this season. Brampton won the previous meeting in Elmira, 3-1, snapping a five-game winning streak for the Jackals over the Beast and Shane Owen's seven-game winning streak to start his tenure with the Jackals. Elmira is 3-0-1 at the Powerade Centre this season and is 6-2-1 overall against the Beast. The Jackals hold an all-time record of 11-3-1 against Brampton. Colin Jacobs leads the Jackals against the Beast with seven points.

Jacob MacDonald scored just 20 seconds into overtime to give the Jackals a thrilling 3-2 victory over the Reading Royals. Justin Bernhardt and Colin Jacobs each scored in regulation for Elmira, and both goals overcame one-goal deficits. Shane Owen made 23 saves to earn his eighth win in nine starts as a Jackal, as Elmira moved into a four-way tie for fifth place in the Eastern Conference with 76 points this season. 4/1 at Brampton Beast: SOL 3-4
Kyle Bushee, Tyler Currier and Jacob MacDonald each recorded third period goals to erase a three-goal deficit in the final 11:44 of regulation and help the Jackals earn one point in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Brampton Beast.
