Elmira, NY - The Elmira Jackals announced today they, in conjunction with Pixelhead,
have unveiled their new website design for www.jackalshockey.com
The Jackals website has a whole new look as they welcome in their seventh season of
operations. During the summer months Pixelhead, the official web developer of the
Jackals, has been working with the club to create a new look for the Jackals
website. The long hours of revamping the old design has finally culminated in the
release of the new look. "We are very happy with our partnership with Pixelhead," said General Manager Robbie
S. Nichols. "They have outdone themselves in creating our exciting new web design
and we are thrilled to offer a more user-friendly Jackalshockey.com." Pixel Head, located in Elmira Heights, has implemented nearly 100 Website solutions
for a variety of local, regional and national clients including many Members of
Congress. Our affordable, custom-designed Websites come with a content management
system that allows our clients, regardless of their technical abilities, to update
and maintain their own sites in real-time. Our Websites offer a variety of features

redesign your Website, please give Craig Palmer a call at 607-732-4540. In other news the Jackals signed rookie forwards Brian Teixeira and David Morelli
and placed forward David Poulin on waivers Thursday afternoon. Brian Teixeira (pronounced TEX-air-ah) comes to the Jackals as a free agent rookie.
He made his professional debut last season with the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL
and he then moved to Gwinnett. Teixeira played 4-years of NCAA Division III hockey
for Williams College in Massachusetts. During college he played in 95 games and
scored 64 points (24 goals, 20 assists). David Morelli started the year in the Augusta Lynx (ECHL) Training Camp before
coming to Elmira. The Vernon, British Columbia native is looking to make his pro
debut. He played 4-years of college hockey for the University of Nebraska-Omaha
and he also played junior hockey for the Vernon Vipers of the BCHL. He had 46
points (21 goals, 25 assists) in 57 games for Vernon in 2000-01, a career high for
points. The Jackals are in action tonight as they host the Port Huron Flags at 7:35 pm at
First Arena. Elmira will then hit the road for two games this weekend in Port
Huron. Saturday's face off is scheduled for 7:30 pm, while Sunday's game has been
