(PORT HURON, MICH.) - The Flags game on Sunday, which was recently rescheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m., will feature one of six opportunities for fans to join the team on the ice, following the game.

"Skate With the Players" will happen one Sunday a month throughout the season, with the exception of January, when there are no Sunday home games. Fans of all ages may take the ice for 20 to 30 minutes, with members of the team and obtain autographs. The tentative dates for future skate sessions are Nov. 5, Dec. 10, Feb. 11, 2007, March 4, 2007 and April 1, 2007..

"It lets the community get to know the players a little bit better," said Flags Director of Sponsorships Melissa Reynolds. "Last year, everyone had a great time talking to the team in a relaxed environment."

Ice skates are not required to participate in the event. Fans are allowed to walk on the ice if they so choose.

Come on over to McMorran Arena on Sunday at 3:30 p.m., to watch the Flags play the visiting Elmira Jackals and then skate with the team!
