
Jackals To Broadcast Games On TV

Elmira, NY - The Elmira Jackals announced today that they will have four of their regular season home games broadcasted on Television on WETM-2, Time Warner Cable Channel 11.
In addition to their radio broadcasts on Magic 92.7 & 97.7 FM and streaming over the
Internet at www.jackalshockey.com The first Jackals hockey game will be Friday night, December 8th against the Fort
Wayne Komets. The play-by-play commentator for the broadcast will be Voice of the
Jackals Owen Newkirk, 2005-06 UHL Broadcaster of the Year, and WETM-TV's Chief
Meteorologist Scott Mayer, a former goaltender for Cornell University's club hockey
team, will provide color commentary. Friday's broadcast will be seen on a tape
delayed basis on WETM-2 (Time Warner Cable Channel 11) on Saturday December 9th at
12:00 pm. Jackals 2006-2007 WETM-2 TV Broadcast Schedule 12/8/06 vs. Fort Wayne (airdate: 12/9/06 at 12 PM) WETM-2 can be seen on Time Warner Cable Channel 11 in Elmira, Corning, Watkins Glen,

Fort Wayne Komets at 7:35 pm at First Arena for the first of a two-game home series
with the Western Conference's 1st place team. The Jackals will also host the Komets
on Saturday December 9th at 7:35 pm. FIRST ARENA UPCOMING EVENTS TEN - A Tribute to Pearl Jam & Haunted by Angels will be performing live at First
Arena on Friday December 15th at 7:30 pm. Tickets are just $10.00 and are on sale
now at the First Arena Box Office; limited floor seats available. Open MRI Presents...Legends Christmas Spectacular, Saturday December 16th at First
Arena. The show starts at 7:30 pm and features top notched artist impersonators of
Shania Twain, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones and Neil Diamond. Tickets range from $10.00
