
Jackals Sign D-Man

The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the United Hockey League, announced today the signing of Chad Moore to a one-year contract for the 2004-2005 season. He becomes the third player signed for the upcoming season.
Moore, a Lakeville, MN native, played for the Missouri River Otters last season. He scored two goals, and tallied six assists with 78 penalty minutes. Moore played his college hockey at Augsburg College. In 96 games he totaled 29 points, (5g, 24a). The 6'2", 210-pound defenseman collected 221 PIMS and had a +18 rating.
"Chad is a blue collar defenseman that skates well and is solid defensively," said Jackals Head Coach Todd Brost. "He is very coachable with a huge potential to improve."
