Jackals Release Garrison, Moore To IR

Elmira, NY - The Elmira Jackals announced today that Right Wing Jeremy Garrison has been released from his contract and was placed on waivers. In other Tuesday transaction news defenseman Chad Moore was placed on the 10-day injured reserve.

Garrison appeared in 3 games for Elmira, registering no points, 2 penalty minutes and a -1 rating. The Wallingford, CT native started the season on the injured reserve, missing the first two games of the season with a hip injury suffered in the Jackals first exhibition game at Adirondack.

Moore was placed on the 10-day injured reserve Tuesday, retroactive to Saturday October 23rd. Moore has played one game for Elmira so far this season, 10/23 versus Ricmond, holding no points, 2 penalty minutes, a -1 rating and 2 shots on goal.

The Jackals return to action Friday night, October 29th as they host the Richmond Riverdogs at the First Arena, a 7:30 face off.
