
Best Halloween costume means free IceHogs tickets

Rockford, Ill.- This Friday, a lucky fan will have an opportunity to win a pair of IceHogs season tickets for the 2004-05 season when the IceHogs host a Halloween Costume Contest. The IceHogs face-off with the Kansas City Outlaws at 7:05 p.m. Friday at the Rockford MetroCentre and the doors will open at 5:30 p.m.
Come to the game in your Halloween costume and a panel of celebrity judges will critique your outfit. Three finalists will be chosen based on the judge's evaluation at that night's game. The winner will be determined by crowd applause during the second intermission.
Fans interested in participating in the IceHogs Halloween Costume Contest can register in the upper concourse from 5:30 -7:05 p.m. Friday. Finalists will then be announced during the second period. The winner of the contest will receive two (2) Executive Level season tickets, while the second place finisher will win a pair of Executive Level 20-Game Packages and the third place participate will receive two 7-Game Packs.
All fans that wear a costume to the game on Friday will also have an opportunity to trick-or treat with the IceHogs following the game with the Outlaws. Only fans dressed in Halloween costumes will be allowed to participate. IceHogs players will hand out candy down on the ice and fans will get a chance to meet this year's IceHogs.
Wednesday night marks this seasons first Pig Out with WXRX 104.9 FM and the Rockford IceHogs. Fans 21-and older can purchase a pork sandwich and a ice cold beer for just $5. The IceHogs will host nine Wednesday games during the 2004-05 season. Fans can Pig Out with the "X" and the IceHogs during each Wednesday game.
