Outlaws release right wing Josh Hanson

Kansas City Outlaws General Manager Joe Bucchino announced today that right wing Josh Hanson has been released from his contract and has cleared waivers with the UHL.

Hanson was a healthy scratch for both Outlaws home games at Kemper Arena on October 15 and 16 and then appeared in all three road games last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Last season, Hanson played for the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, who made it to the Frozen Four out of the Hockey East.

The Outlaws continue their "road trippin" in Rockford this Friday, October 29 at 7:05 p.m. against the IceHogs and in Quad City on Saturday, October 30 at 7 p.m. against the Mallards.
