Elmira Jackals News Release

The Elmira Jackals, coming off a two-game sweep of the Florida Everblades, announced Sunday that they have loaned forward Justin Donati to their AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. The Senators are in action Sunday playing in Rochester against the Americans.

Donati leads the ECHL with 56 points and 37 assists in 2009-2010. In Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Everblades, Donati had a goal, three assists, and one of the Jackals' two shootout goals.

This season, Donati has gained two ECHL Rookie of the Month awards along with two league Player of the Week honors. In late December, he was selected as a starter for the American Conference in the upcoming ECHL All-Star Game presented by Reebok and brought to you by Toyota and the City of Ontario.

The Jackals play two games in Reading against the Royals on Friday and Saturday before closing out the weekend in Wheeling on Sunday against the Nailers.
