Odessa Jackalopes News Release
(Odessa, TX) - The Odessa Jackalopes are currently 3-1-0 through the midway point of their season-high, eight-game rodeo road trip. The team won both of its games over the weekend to begin the second half of the season.

Season record: 28-6-3
Friday at Corpus Christi, 4-3 Win
Jean Bourbeau's shorthanded goal with 5.7 seconds left in the game gave the Jackalopes a 4-3 win, and capped off an entertaining game which saw both teams trade goals from the start. The win improved Odessa's record to 5-0-0 against the IceRays this season.
Saturday at Rio Grande Valley, 4-3 Win
The Jackalopes scored three goals in the second period, and held on in the third, for a 4-3 win. It was another back-and-forth tilt as both teams combined for five total goals scored in the second period. The win was Odessa's fourth over the Bees this season.

The Jackalopes return to Prescott Valley, AZ for a three-game set against the Arizona Sundogs. Odessa is 3-0-0 against Arizona this season, outscoring the Sundogs 14-9. Two of the three games have been decided by one-goal. Odessa's Mike Ramsay and Dominic Leveille each have five points in the season series to lead all skaters.
The Odessa Jackalopes are the Central Hockey League affiliate for the NHL's New York Islanders and the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
