Jacksonville Sharks News Release
JACKSONVILLE - The ArenaBowl XXIV Champion Jacksonville Sharks announced Thursday that offensive lineman Isaac Morales has been assigned to the team's roster.
The 28-year-old Morales (6'6", 315) was a key contributor to Jacksonville's outstanding offensive line throughout the 2011 season, starting alongside Vladimir Richard and Randy Degg. Morales helped anchor a unit that allowed just 12 sacks in the entire 2011 regular season.
Morales is set to begin his third season in the Arena Football League, having also played for the Sharks in 2010. Morales started 25 regular-season games in his two previous years with the Sharks. Morales has also caught one touchdown pass in each of his two seasons with Jacksonville.
Before his AFL career began, Morales played at the University of Wyoming, where he was a teammate of Jacksonville linebacker/defensive lineman Aaron Robbins. A native of Canyon, Texas, Morales attended Canyon High School.
