Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

(Allentown, PA) -- The IronPigs will become the first minor league baseball team ever to offer loaded-value ticket technology when IronTickets go on sale to the general public beginning on National Pig Day (March 1) at 9 a.m. IronTickets, geared to expedite transactions and allow fans a cashless environment within Coca-Cola Park, start at $20 and include a field level reserved seat and $11 of loaded value that can be redeemed at all concessions and merchandise locations within Coca-Cola Park.

Fans that purchase the IronTickets will have cash credit loaded onto their ticket's barcode that can be scanned at any food and beverage stand or retail location at the ballpark. IronTickets can be purchased for all IronPigs home games, excluding the exhibition game (March 30) and Opening Day (April 11).

"Ultimately, IronTickets allow our fans greater flexibility and convenience at Coca-Cola Park," stated General Manager Kurt Landes. "The IronPigs are at the forefront of a cutting-edge technology that was designed solely to benefit the consumer."

The technology, referred to as STADIS, was designed by International Micro Systems, Inc. IMS, located in Aston, Pa., is the industry leader in integrated point-of-sale (POS) and venue management solutions with a strong focus on sports arenas, convention centers, amusement facilities, and colleges/universities. This new technology has been implemented at a handful of professional sports venues, including Citizen's Bank Park in Philadelphia.

"The IronPigs have been a great team to work with in the development of their IronTicket program," remarked IMS Chief Executive Office Jim Shrader. "They have committed to bringing major league fan services to the minor leagues. Based on our many years of experience in this area, we are extremely confident that all aspects of services at Coca-Cola Park, including the IronTicket program, will be well received by their fans."

IronTickets for the 2008 season go on sale to the general public beginning Saturday, March 1, at 9 a.m. and can only be ordered at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office or by visiting www.ironpigsbaseball.com.

Along with the introduction of IronTickets, highlights of National Pig Day (March 1) at Coca-Cola Park include single-game ticket sales commencing; the Grand Opening of the Majestic Clubhouse Store; a pig roast -- featuring complimentary food and Coca-Cola Park beverages; appearances by the IronPigs mascot Ferrous; and a variety of activities for children including pig crafts, IronPigs tattoos and a chance to pin the tail on Ferrous.

The IronPigs inaugural season, presented by Capital BlueCross, begins on April 3 at PNC Field in Moosic, Pa., against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees. The IronPigs return for Opening Day at Coca-Cola Park on April 11 at 7:05 p.m. against the reigning International League champion Richmond Braves.
