Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The Pigs (26-29) will play Game Three of a four-game series against the third-place Gwinnett Braves (24-33) -- manager Dave Brundage's former team... With a 10-9 win last night, the Pigs set a franchise record by winning their eighth consecutive home game. They've also won back-to-back contests and improved to 10-5 in their last 15 affairs after hitting its low-water mark of 16-24 on May 16... The G-Braves -- Atlanta's top affiliate -- have lost three straight after their season-high, seven-game winning streak. Still, the G-Braves have posted a 12-8 record since a season-high 14-game losing streak from April 27 to May 11. Gwinnett has gone just 7-16 against North Division opponents this season. Going back to last season, the Pigs have now won eight consecutive games against the G-Braves (starting May 30, 2012).
RHP B.J. Rosenberg (1-4, 4.10) will start for LHV against LHP Daniel Rodriguez (3-3, 5.76).
Today's game features performances by the Purina Incredible Dog Team, sponsored by ALPO Brand Dog Food... First-Pitch is at 1:35 p.m.
