The Pigs (17-24) return for an eight-game homestand with Game One of a four-game series against the fifth-place Rochester Red Wings (17-25)... With a 8-7 win in Norfolk last night, the Pigs snapped a four-game losing streak to salvage the series finale and finish 3-5 on their eight-game South Division road trip... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- won their last two contests to split a four-game home series with Durham and finish 3-5 on an eight-game homestand. After starting 2-11, the Red Wings have gone 15-14 since April 18.
LHP Raul Valdes (1-0, 7.65 w/ PHI) will make his first appearance with LHV this season and his first start of 2013 against RHP P.J. Walters (4-2, 3.42).
Tonight's game will feature postgame fireworks, presented by Coors Light... First-pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
T.G.I.W.!: The Pigs have a 9-5 record in weekend games (5-2 on Saturdays)... and just a 7-19 record in weekday games
