Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release


The IronPigs (15-11) play Game Three of a four-game series against the Charlotte Knights (13-14) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 5-4 come-from-behind, walk-off victory yesterday, the Pigs have won back-to-back games following a three-game losing streak and improved to 10-2 as the home team at Coca-Cola Park... The Knights -- the White Sox top affiliate -- have lost three consecutive games and have fallen to 3-6 on this 13-game road trip. Still, the Knights have posted a 9-7 record since starting 4-7.

RHP Austin Hyatt (2-2, 3.12) will start for LHV against RHP Charlie Shirek (3-2, 4.40).

Tonight is Harry Kalas Bronze Statue Giveaway Night, presented by PPL EnergyPlus. First-Pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

MAY DAY, MAY DAY!

The Pigs have started May at 2-0 -- averaging 4.5 R/G (9) and batting .262 (16-61)... They avg'd 3.5 R/G at .231 in April (13-11).
