The IronPigs (1-0) wrap up a two-game, season-opening series at Coca-Cola Park against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees (0-1)... With a 3-0 shutout victory last night, the Pigs have won on Opening Day for back-to-back seasons after the Phillies' Triple-A affiliate had lost 11 straight openers from 2000-10... The Yankees -- New York's top affiliate -- finished last season 73-69 and in third place in the North Division, missing the I.L. playoffs for the first time since 2005 and as a Yankees affiliate (a relationship that began in 2007)... Following tonight's game, the Pigs travel to Pawtucket for a four-game series starting with a DH on Saturday.

RHP Austin Hyatt (12-6, 3.85 w/ REA) will make his Triple-A debut against RHP Dellin Betances (4-9, 3.70 in AA, AAA).

Tonight is 2012 Magnet Schedule Giveaway w/ Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Lehigh Valley Center for Sight. First-pitch is 7:05 pm.

Start 2-0 for the first time in franchise history... and for the first time by a Phillies Triple-A affiliate since 1992 (when the Red Barons started 3-0)... It's been 20 seasons since the system's top affiliate has started with a pair of wins... In 1992, SWB had a 7-6 win over SYR on Opening Day. The next day they were suspended, but won the following day, 9-5, in 12 innings. They also won the third game, 9-7, before taking their first lost and dropping to 3-1...
