Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The fifth-place IronPigs (39-57) play Game Two of a four-game series against the West's second-place Indianapolis Indians (50-47) -- Pittsburgh's top affiliate. With an historical* 10-8 come-from-behind win last night, the 'Pigs have won two of their last three contests and improved to 2-3 on this eight-game, West Division road trip. Still, Lehigh Valley is just 9-16 (.360) in its last 25 contests... Indianapolis had its mini two-game win "streak" snapped. The streaky Indians have gone 6-5 in their last 11 games following a season-long, eight-game losing streak (which followed a five-game winning streak).
LHP J.A. Happ (0-1, 5.59) will start for LHV against RHP Daniel McCutchen (4-6, 3.95).
First-pitch tonight is at 7 p.m... Note: Tomorrow's game starts at 1:00 p.m.
ABOUT LAST NIGHT'S WIN:
Having trailed 8-1, the 7-R comeback was the largest in LHV history. The prev. high was 4 (done 5x; 2x in 2010).
