Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The fifth-place IronPigs (32-49) play the finale of a mini two-game series against the second-place Syracuse Chiefs (46-36) -- Washington's top affiliate. With a 4-2 loss last night, the 'Pigs are now 1-2 on this four-game homestand and just 2-8 in their last 10 games. However, they have still gone 4-3 in their last seven home games, which does not include their 5-4 victory in Tuesday's completion of the April 16 suspended game... Syracuse -- which was previously swept in a two-game series at Buffalo (first time swept in 2010) has gone just 5-7 in its last 12 contests.

First-Pitch for is at 7:05 p.m. for Friday Night Fireworks, presented by TD Bank.

Following the game, the Pigs travel all the way to Pawtucket for ONE game before returning home Saturday for a four-gamer with the Paw Sox.
