Iowa Wolves Announce Training Camp Roster

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves today announced its 2023-24 training camp roster, which features four players, Brian Bowen II, D.J. Carton, Javonte Cooke and Phillip Wheeler who each played with Iowa last year.

The roster includes three two-way players, 2023 second-round pick Jaylen Clark from UCLA, former Iowa standout Luka Garza, who split time last year between Iowa and with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Daishen Nix, who joined Minnesota after spending the past two seasons with the Houston Rockets.

NBA assignment players on the roster include 2023 second-round pick Leonard Miller, who played with the NBA G League Ignite last season and 2022 first-round pick Wendell Moore Jr. Moore Jr. appeared in 29 games (two starts) with the Timberwolves and in eight games with Iowa during the 2022-23 season.

Three additional players with NBA experience are on the roster, Trevor Keels, Vit Krejčí and Tyrese Martin. Keels saw action in three games last season with the New York Knicks. Krejčí spent last season with the Atlanta Hawks, appearing in 29 games. Martin played in 16 games with the Atlanta Hawks during the 2022-23 season.

In addition, Iowa's three selections from the 2023 NBA G League draft are on the roster with first-round pick Kok Yat and second-round picks Nojel Eastern and Denzel Mahoney. Rounding out the roster are Michael Durr, Everette Hammond and Isaiah Moore.

Iowa opens the 2023-24 season Friday, Nov. 10 against the Windy City Bulls at 7 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena.
