Iowa Wolves News Release
DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves, the NBA G League franchise of the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Landus are excited to announce a new partnership.
Landus will be Iowa's jersey sponsor (pictures attached), the title sponsor of the team's inaugural Iowa State Fair Game on Jan. 15 against the Memphis Hustle and the sponsor of the Iowa Wolves' Community Ticket program. The community ticket program works with local and statewide non-profits to distribute Iowa Wolves tickets to youth.
"As an agribusiness leader and an economic driver in the state of Iowa and beyond, Landus along with our thousands of farmer-owners recognizes the importance of strengthening the connection between urban and rural communities," said Matt Carstens, President and CEO, Landus. "Our sponsorship with the Iowa Wolves is another example of how Landus is investing in our state and especially in the next generation of Iowans. We'll have opportunities to connect Iowa youth to experiences in agriculture, sustainability, and the many impactful career opportunities in food, fuel and innovation that Landus can offer right here in Iowa. We're thrilled to partner with an organization that is equally committed to putting Iowa communities first."
"The Iowa Wolves are thrilled to have Landus as an integral sponsor for our upcoming season and beyond," said Ryan Grant, President, Iowa Wolves. "Landus is graciously supporting our efforts, in the city of Des Moines and throughout the state of Iowa, to make our games more accessible to kids through our Community Ticket Program and overall partnership. Much like the way Landus and its farmer-owners power our state with food and fuel, they are powering the Iowa Wolves."
