
Iowa Picks up Big Win against Western Conference Elite

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Wolves (11-11) picked up an impressive 145-136 home victory over the Memphis Hustle (17-5) Monday night at Wells Fargo Arena.
Iowa shot a blistering 58.1% (54-of-93) from the field and 48.6% (17-35) from beyond the arc while recording its highest point total of the season.
Seven players finished in double figures for the home team, led by a 25-point outburst from two-way player Jordan McLaughlin. The former University of Southern California guard also dished out a team-high nine assists.
Timberwolves assignee Jaylen Nowell tallied 24 points on 9-of-16 shooting while picking up five assists.
The Wolves led by as many as 22 points in the contest before the Hustle made a push in the fourth quarter, closing the gap to three points with nine minutes remaining. Iowa would outscore Memphis 29-23 the rest of the way to earn the victory.
James Webb III had a monster night for Iowa, tallying a season-high in points (23) and rebounds (15).
Former No. 4 overall 2017 NBA Draft pick Josh Jackson went off for a game-high 35 points for the Hustle. Guard Dusty Hannahs finished with 30 points on 12-of-18 shooting.
Iowa takes to the road for a three-game west coast road trip beginning Wednesday evening with a matchup against the South Bay Lakers at 9:00 p.m. CT.
