Iowa Energy to Host Annual Draft Party Saturday, October 31

Des Moines, Iowa - The Iowa Energy will host its annual NBA D-League Draft party at Legends American Grill (216 Court Ave.) in downtown Des Moines on Saturday, Oct. 31. The draft party will begin at 12:30 PM, with draft selections beginning promptly at 1:00 PM. Through a series of trades, the Energy will have three of the first nine picks (picks 3, 4 and 9) in the 19-team draft. Join us for the Iowa football game. Fans of all ages are welcome to attend as the Energy will select players for the upcoming season. Food and drink specials will also be offered.

Members of the Energy front office and High Voltage Dance Team will be in attendance. Energy swag bags will be raffled off during the draft.

The selection order for each round of the 2015 NBA D-League Draft was first determined by the reverse order of 2014-15 regular-season results, with the teams that did not qualify for the 2015 playoffs selecting before those teams that did compete in postseason.

Prior to the draft, a full list of players returning to the Energy will be released to the public.
