The Cary Invasion closed out a week-end double header by beating the Wilmington Sea Dawgs by a score of 107 - 94 at the Young Center Sunday afternoon. But, the Invasion asserted the defensive pressure in the fourth quarter, building a double digit lead and hanging on for the win.

Invasion Head Coach MarQus Johnson said after the win, "We were missing three starters, but our guys hung in there and adjusted. We're still a work in progress, but I am proud of our team. We need to just keep working hard and staying together." The Invasion (7 - 0) play next at home on Friday, June 10th against the Fayetteville Crossover for their regular season finale at the Young Center in Cary.
