Kannapolis Cannon Ballers News Release
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - Tonight's game between the Kannapolis Intimidators and Hagerstown Suns has been postponed due to rain at CMC-NorthEast Stadium. The teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 5:00 p.m. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and one ticket is good for both games of the doubleheader, which will consist of two 7-inning games.
Tickets from tonight's game can be exchanged for a ticket for any remaining Intimidators regular season home game during the 2014 season. Exchanges can be made at the F&M Bank Box Office.
Friday night's game features a prehistoric first pitch before the second game of the doubleheader as Dakota and The Dinosaur Response Squad visit CMC-NorthEast Stadium. Children will be able to get pictures with the dinosaurs throughout the game. Friday is also Legends Series Giveaway Night featuring action photos of former Kannapolis Intimidator and current Arizona Diamondback Brandon McCarthy (first 1,000 fans).
The home stand against the Suns continues on Saturday as former Charlotte 49ers standout Tyler Barnette is scheduled to start for Kannapolis. Saturday's 7:05 p.m. game will be followed by fireworks presented by CMC-NorthEast. For ticket and promotional information, call the F&M Bank Box Office at (704) 932-3267 or visit IntimidatorsBaseball.com.
