Intimidators Drop Second Straight To Greensboro 4-2

Kannapolis, NC - The Intimidators gave up two runs in the eighth to fall to Greensboro 4-2 at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium.

It's the sixth straight game decided by three runs or less the Intimidators have played in.

Kannapolis opened the scoring with a sacrifice fly off the bat of Dale Mollenhauer in the second inning to score Jim Gallagher. The Intimidators added another run in the fourth with a RBI groundout from Gallagher to plate Christian Marrero.

The Intimidators set a season-high with four doubles but gave up two runs in the eighth to break up a 2-2 tie.

Kannapolis has it first day off tomorrow before taking the field in Greensboro against the Grasshoppers on Tuesday night.
