Intimdators Rout Power Thanks To Eight-Run Third Inning

Kannapolis, NC - An eight-run third inning busted open an Intimidators 14-3 win over West Virginia. Kannapolis (2-1) has won back to back games and five out of six stretching back to the second half.

The Intimidators scored first with a Mark Fleisher sacrifice fly to score Sergio Morales. Kannapolis scored four runs in the second inning all coming on a Fleisher grand slam.

Then Kannapolis extended its lead to 13-0 with eight runs on a two-out rally. With two outs and nobody on, ten straight Intimidators reached leading to eight runs highlighted by RBI singles from Dale Mollenhauer, Jim Gallagher and Christian Marrero.

On the mound, Jason Rice won his third straight start with six innings giving up two runs on seven hits.
