
Intern Resumes Now Being Accepted for '05

Beloit Sky Carp News Release
The Beloit Snappers are looking to hire on five interns for the 2005 season. This internship is open to college students only, that at minimum have completed their sophomore year.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interns will gain knowledge and experience in all aspects of a minor league baseball
operation including, but not limited to, tickets, merchandising, food and beverage,
public relations, promotions, grounds, game day operations and managerial functions.
Interns will need an in-depth knowledge of Snappers group ticket and picnic packages and policies, as they will be expected to do phone sales for group outings, picnics and various sponsorship opportunities.
All interns will be assigned special projects (i.e. golf outing, baseball camps, etc.) to work on and coordinate over the course of the season. Interns will be exposed to both leadership and team building activities and are encouraged to make suggestions and ask questions.
Interns will be required to be available and work nights and weekends as the baseball schedule dictates.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
⢠College student that at minimum has completed sophomore year.
⢠Energetic and enthusiastic.
⢠Outgoing, positive attitude and personality.
⢠Must be a "team player".
⢠Interested in more than just working in a high profile environment.
⢠Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
⢠Willing to offer ideas and suggestions.
⢠Punctual and professional.
START DATE: mid-May 2005
END DATE: end of August 2005
COMPENSATION: $400 per month, plus commissions
Interns are required to provide their own housing for the duration of the internship.
