Inter Miami CF Signs Shaan Hundal on Short-Term Loan Agreement from Inter Miami CF II

Inter Miami CF announced today that it has signed forward Shaan Hundal on a short-term loan agreement from the club's MLS NEXT Pro team Inter Miami CF II. Hundal will be available for Saturday's MLS match against New York City FC at 7 p.m. ET at Yankee Stadium.
Hundal, 22, has appeared in 15 MLS NEXT Pro matches for Inter Miami CF II in 2022, starting in 10 of them. The forward has tallied four goals and two assists in that time. In Inter Miami CF II's last match, Hundal scored his fourth goal of the 2022 MLS NEXT Pro season, all of which have come in the last five games.
Hundal joined Inter Miami II in 2021, starring in USL League One. He led the team in goals with 11 that season, earning him a place as a finalist for the League One Young Player of the Year award.
Earlier this season, Hundal was loaned to the First Team for the match against Orlando City SC on July 9, 2022.
Per MLS rules, the short-term agreement allows clubs to sign players on loan from their MLS NEXT Pro affiliate for MLS, U.S. Open Cup, CONCACAF Champions League, Canadian Championship and exhibition matches.
