Injury Update: Ryan Shawcross

Inter Miami CF News Release


Inter Miami CF provided today an injury update presented by Baptist Health for defender Ryan Shawcross.

Shawcross, who suffered a back injury ahead of the Aug. 14 match at New York City FC, underwent back surgery on Tuesday, Sept. 21 and has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2021 Major League Soccer (MLS) season.

Inter Miami returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 29 to face Atlanta United FC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on the Inter Miami App, My33, CW34 and the UniMás App.
