
Inglewood Cobras to audition dance team

Inglewood, CA. Open call auditions will be held at Westchester High School in Westchester, CA on August 20th at 9am for the ABA Inglewood Cobras professional basketball team. The Cobras are searching for training female and male dancers ranging from ages 18-30 with a background in hip-hop, jazz and cheerleading a plus.
If you are energetic and easy to work with, we're looking for you for this exciting opportunity to excite the crowd in a unique professional basketball setting packed with not only competitive professional basketball but a highly entertaining event of FanXcitement. This is an opportunity to work under trained choreographers, perform in front of large audiences, tour with the team to games and for corporate and promotional events.
Pre-registration is optional but preferred. To pre-register, go to www.9sportsentertainment.com/nineprohoopshome.htm and follow the link to Dance Auditions. Pre-registration will reserve your spot. Non-registered dancers should arrive by 830am. All dance should be ready and on the floor by 930am.
Be on time and ready to perform. The attire for the audition is dance wear, no baggy clothes. Ladies, half top preferred. Bring your resume with a head shot or action photo. Call backs will be held in September.
Alysha Wheeler, dance team choreographer for the ABA Inglewood Cobras, has been dancing for more than 22 years. She was a part of the National Championship College Dance Team at Long Beach State University, a former LA Clipper dancer, NBA all star dancer and NFL Rams cheerleader. She has danced and choreographed for shows like ABC's The Bachelor and Family Affair. Wheeler recently choreographed and danced in a commercial for Puma. Performing in various videos, film and commercials, Wheeler also spent three years dancing for Latin artist Chayanne. Her music video credits include groups like Sugar Ray, Smash Mouth and Bon Jovi.
As current director and owner of A-Max Entertainment which provides dancers, models and actors for live events, commercials and print jobs, Wheeler is prepared to bring the best to the ABA Inglewood Cobras.
