Newark, NJ. On September 10th, 2005, the ABA Newark Express professional basketball team will be holding it's next tryout camp, looking for New Jerseys finest ball players. Co-owner Marsha Blount states, "We've had two prior tryouts, and have had players c ome from around the country to take advantage of this opportunity. The fact is, we are New Jerseys' team and would like to show that representation on the court. So, we're officially calling out to ALL those New Jersey ballplayers here at home who want a shot at the pros. We're looking for those players who want to separate themselves from the rest. If you have game...we'll provide the stage."
According to co-owner Jacqui Halyard, "We will be announcing the signing of our Head Coach and coaching staff shortly. We want some top players for them to mold into a winning team."
