David Rose named Director of New Business Development

Published on August 8, 2005 under American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release

Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today named David Rose as Director of New Business Development for the professional basketball league.

According to Joe Newman, ABA CEO, "For the last year, we asked Dave to spearhead and develop the ABA Entertainment Division and he did a very good job getting things organized. ABA Entertainment is now in the capable hands of Angela Rizzi. But Dave's real forte has been business development and his background and skills are much better suited in that area. The ABA is expanding rapidly and developing a wide variety of initiatives. In order to maximize the potential of these opportunities, we needed someone to focus exclusively in this area. We think Dave fits this role well."

Rose added, "Using ABA basketball as the platform, there are so many great tangent opportunities to explore. We receive so many calls from companies interested in seeking a relationship with the ABA. Hopefully, I can identify and take advantage of some of these opportunities. As Joe and I discussed, there is no limit to what we can accomplish if we keep an open mind and continue to think a little "outside of the box."
