NEW YORK - The North American Soccer League (NASL) will host a media conference call ahead of The Championship Final, which will be played this Sunday at 7 p.m. ET at Belson Stadium in Queens, N.Y.
The New York Cosmos will host Indy Eleven with the Soccer Bowl Trophy on the line, and to discuss Sunday's title game as well as the 2016 season, players and coaches from each club - including Indy Eleven representatives head coach Tim Hankinson, forward and leading scorer Eamon Zayed and veteran goalkeeper Jon Busch - will be on the call for local, national, and international media. NASL Commissioner Bill Peterson will also be available for questions from media.
Sunday's game, which will air live on CBS Sports Network, features the top two seeds in The Championship, the league's four-team postseason tournament. Top-seeded New York captured the NASL Fall Season title, while Indy took home the Spring Season crown. In its first appearance in The Championship Final, the Eleven will be looking to prevent the Cosmos from winning their third NASL title in four years.
