Indy Eleven News Release
INDIANAPOLIS - Indy Eleven is proud to partner with the Tyler Trent Foundation in conjunction with the club's "Faith & Family Night" match this Sunday, August 18, at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Proceeds from select tickets for the match will benefit the Tyler Trent Foundation, which is being established by Tyler's parents, Tony and Kelly Trent, to continue the legacy of his heroic fight against pediatric cancer by raising funds for vital research. Fans can learn more about Tyler's story and the Tyler Trent Foundation at www.tylertrentbook.com.
A link to purchase these special tickets for Sunday's game in benefit of the Tyler Trent Foundation can be found at www.indyeleven.com/promotions under the Faith & Family Night tab; after clicking the link, fans can use the promotion code "trent" to take part in the offer.
"The book telling Tyler's incredible journey is titled 'The Upset' because he provided so many with the hope and inspiration it takes to fight a seemingly insurmountable opponent," said Tony Trent. "We are grateful to Indy Eleven for providing this platform that will help us continue to establish the Tyler Trent Foundation, which will assist families like ours in their own battles against pediatric cancer until a cure is found."
Indy Eleven will also recognize members of the Trent family on the field during the team's pre-game activities leading up to the 6:00 p.m. kickoff against Saint Louis FC. Tony and Kelly Trent will also participate in a post-game testimonial alongside Indy Eleven Head Coach Martin Rennie and players Evan Newton, Tyler Gibson and Jordan Farr, to be held in the stadium's East Club area. The evening's activities will start when gates open at 5:00 p.m. with a pre-game concert by former Indianapolis Colts player Hunter Smith at the Horseshoe Stage on the North Concourse.
"Tyler's inspirational story touched so many people, especially here in Central Indiana," said Indy Eleven Vice President of Marketing & Strategy, Josh Mason. "Indy Eleven is honored to help continue his legacy, and we encourage fans planning on attending Faith & Family Night this Sunday to show their support."
