Indy Eleven to Host "Nuestra Noche Con Los Eleven" / "Hispanic Heritage Night" on September 13

INDIANAPOLIS (Tuesday, September 2, 2014) - As a nod to the upcoming Hispanic Heritage Month celebration from September 15 through October 15, Indy Eleven Professional Soccer is proud to announce the club will host its "Nuestra Noche con los Eleven" ("Hispanic Heritage Night") on Saturday, Sept. 13 at IUPUI's Carroll Stadium.
The celebration of Latin American culture at the home of Indy Eleven will surround the team's 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff that evening against FC Edmonton. Tickets for the Sept. 13 match remain available and can be purchased at IndyEleven.com.
"Reaching the international community across Indiana has been an important focus of Indy Eleven since our launch, and we are excited at the opportunity to shine the spotlight on our many supporters from the Hispanic community," said Indy Eleven President / General Manager Peter Wilt. "Indy Eleven looks forward to making the Nuestra Noche con los Eleven celebration an annual event on the club's calendar moving forward."
The Nuestra Noche con los Eleven festivities will begin just outside the confines of Carroll Stadium in Parking/Tailgate Lot B, where a potluck dinner featuring Latin American cuisine will be held in conjunction with the Brickyard Battalion tailgate beginning at 4:30 p.m.
The evening's events will continue inside the Carroll Stadium gates upon opening at 6:00 p.m., as musical and entertainment acts spanning the Latin spectrum will be performing across the stadium, including in the Honda Fun Zone pregame festival on the stadium's East Lawn.
Indy Eleven will cap the celebration during halftime of the match, when Indiana's Team will proudly recognize an influential member of the local Hispanic community who has helped to make Central Indiana a better place for all citizens.
