INDIANAPOLIS - Indy Eleven has today announced the acquisition of defender Benjamin Ofeimu and midfielder Ben Mines from The Miami FC. In a corresponding move, Indy has transferred defender Danny Barbir and forward Roberto Molina to Miami. Per club policy, terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
Ofeimu joined Miami ahead of the 2022 season and saw action in 40 matches, making 29 starts and logging nearly 2,800 minutes in just over two seasons.
Prior to his time in Miami, Ofeimu appeared in 15 matches for Birmingham Legion FC in 2021 and spent three seasons (2018-20) with Bethlehem Steel FC/Philadelphia Union II, seeing time in 46 matches.

During his tenure in Orange County, Mines helped the club to the 2021 USLC title, scoring three goals in 11 matches.
He joined Miami prior to the 2023 season and saw action in 26 matches, making seven starts.
Originally signed by New York Red Bulls II on a USL Academy Contract in 2016, Mines played in 48 matches (18 starts) and tallied two goals and three assists across five seasons of USL and USL Championship action.
Mines signed as a Homegrown Player for the Red Bulls (MLS) in 2018 and made six appearances with the side, scoring two goals and adding one assist.
As part of the transaction, Barbir, who signed with the Boys in Blue ahead of the 2024 season from Oakland Roots SC, and Molina, who came to the Circle City in May 2023, were transferred to Miami.
