Indians Return To Victory Field Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians begin a four-game homestand on Saturday when Charlotte comes to Victory Field for a 7 p.m. contest. The stretch continues through July 31 as the Tribe squares off with the Knights (July 28-29) and Durham Bulls (July 30-31).

Sat., July 28 -- Charlotte @ 7:00 p.m.

Famous Chicken Appearance -- One of the most entertaining shows in all of sports makes its only stop at Victory Field courtesy of the NCAA. The Famous Chicken will perform throughout the game and be available for autographs starting in the eighth inning.

NASCAR Showcar Tour -- Fans will be able to enjoy a showcar exhibit in the center-field plaza. The No. 38 Great Clips Toyota showcar matches the vehicle driven by Jason Leffler in the NASCAR Busch Series.

Charity Hair Cut -- Great Clips stylists will be on the concourse, giving haircuts for a $10 donation. All proceeds will go towards the National Alliance for Autism Research.

Sun., July 29 -- Charlotte @ 2:00 p.m.

Baseball Card Set Giveaway -- It's a Souvenir Sunday at Victory Field as the first 4,000 fans receive an Indians Baseball Card Set courtesy of Ivy Tech. Gates open at 12:30 p.m.

Knot Hole Run -- Members of the WISH-TV/Indians Knot Hole Club are invited to run the bases after the game.

Mon., July 30 -- Durham @ 7:00 p.m.

Monday Dollar Menu -- Hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, Cracker Jack and potato chips will be available for just $1 each.

Library Night -- Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library Summer Reading Program participants can receive Buy-One, Get-One-Free coupons. The library's mascot, Booker, will be on hand to entertain fans during the game, which is also presented by the Indiana Blood Center.

Tues., July 31 -- Durham @ 7:00 p.m.

National City Bank Night -- Fans can receive Buy-One, Get-One-Free coupons through participating National City Bank locations.
