Indians-PawSox Doubleheader Set for July 28
May 1, 2017 - International League (IL1)
Indianapolis Indians News Release
INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Indians announced today the makeup date for their game against the Pawtucket Red Sox that was rained out on April 26. The rescheduled game will be the second game of a doubleheader at Victory Field on Friday, July 28.
The April 26 game was played in Pawtucket. Since the Tribe won't make a return trip to Pawtucket this season, the Red Sox will be listed as the home team for the second game, even though the game will take place in Indianapolis.
First pitch for the first game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. The second game will start 30 minutes after the first game ends. Since July 28 is a Friday Fireworks night, postgame fireworks will still take place after the second game.
Tickets for the doubleheader are available at IndyIndians.com. Fans who already purchased tickets for the originally scheduled game on July 28 can attend both games. Any new ticket purchased for July 28 is also good for both games.
