INDIANAPOLIS (April 5, 2012) - The Indianapolis Indians are hosting a first-ever blood drive at Victory Field on Monday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., just days before the team's home-opener. Indiana Blood Center will setup in the visiting team clubhouse, allowing post-donation access to step in the indoor batting cages, sit in the dugout, and catch the player's view of the field and city skyline.

Participants will receive a ticket voucher for any April or May Indians game at Victory Field. The Indians will host their home opener against the Toledo Mud Hens on Friday, April 13, at 7:15 p.m.

Monday's blood drive is part of the Indianapolis Indians and Indiana Blood Center's "Triple Play" campaign.
